Tomato sauce is an ambiguous term that can mean many things, including:
- tomato puree flavored with salt, garlic, onion, basil, and oregano (commonly sold in cans in the USA)
- ketchup (Australia, and sometimes in the UK)
- any tomato-based spaghetti sauce or pasta sauce
